Los Cerritos & Virginia Country Club Real Estate

Many of Long Beach's grandest homes are in the vicinity of Virginia Country Club and Los Cerritos. These neighborhoods were founded by Flint, Bixby & Co. in the 1860s on more than 27,000 acres of beautiful Pacific property, and have become dotted with spacious luxury estates, many of which are historic to the region.

Los Cerritos Homes

Settlement here dates back even earlier than the Bixby acquisition. In 1784, Rancho Los Cerritos became on of the Long Beach area's first homesteads, when approximately 165,000 acres of land was granted to Manual Nieto. After Nieto, the rancho was held by a number of parties before Flint, Bixby & Co. began developing it into a modern community.
