Rose Park Historic District Real Estate

Careful preservation has kept many homes in Rose Park Historic District in their original early 20th century condition. A stroll through this picturesque neighborhood will take you past dozens of authentic Victorian, Craftsman, and Spanish Colonial Revival residences constructed during the 1910s and '20s. Not every home in the Rose Park area is considered historic – the community also includes many expanded and rebuilt residences, as well as new homes.

Rose Park Historic District Homes

At the heart of the neighborhood is Rose Park itself, a large circular green space dedicated to the city of Long Beach in 1910 by the Alamitos Land Company, a prominent early developer. Rose Park Historic District real estate is located within the original Alamitos Beach Townsite, at the junction of 8th Street and Oizaba Avenue.
